Welcome
We are happy you stopped by our website and hope you enjoy getting to know a little bit about Prescott Community Church. We are an active body of Christ committed to:
Experiencing God through worship and prayer
Embracing God’s family through fellowship and caring relationships
Engaging God’s people through outreach to our community and our world
We invite you to worship with us on Sunday mornings. We have a time of food, friends and coffee at 10am, with worship beginning at 10:30am. Our worship service combines timeless hymns with inspiring contemporary music, lead by organ, piano and/or our praise band. We enjoy creative worship, often including video, drama and other engaging ways to proclaim the message of Christ. Scripture is central to our worship and our messages are scriptural and relevant to our Christian walk. It is our prayer that the Holy Spirit will lead us into worship that glorifies God and proclaims Jesus as Lord.
Our church family enjoys time together and each month we gather on the second Sunday following worship for a potluck lunch and a time of fun and friendship. You are invited to join us as our guest. This is a wonderful way to become acquainted with the wonderful people who call Prescott Community Church home.
We also have many small group studies, support groups and Bible Studies available throughout the week. If you are interested in any of them, please check them out on this website, or call the church office at (928)445-8008 for more information.
A note from our Pastor
I am so excited to have you become acquainted with Prescott Community Church.
If I had to describe this church in one word it would be FAMILY. We are truly a family, caring for one another, growing together, learning together, laughing together and crying together. Our activities are intergenerational, including kids and grandparents and everyone in between. We have an active missions ministry, including a commitment to helping homeless families in our area as we partner with local agencies. We study God’s Word in worship, in small group Bible Study and in our Kids ministry. We also have fun together, with activities such as an annual talent show, game days, and monthly lunches (we enjoy eating together!).
At Prescott Community Church we are committed to following our Lord Jesus Christ into the amazing future He has planned for us. Perhaps He would like you to be part of that future as well. We invite you to come and see why we love our church family and most of all, why we love our amazing God!
I hope to meet you soon!

FAQs
-
A. Our church building is on the corner of Willow Creek and Montana in Prescott. We are one building over from the Prescott Culvers.
-
A. We begin Sunday mornings at 10am with fellowship time, coffee, food, and other beverages. You are welcome to mingle in the lobby and enjoy the treats or bring them into the Sanctuary to relax before the service begins. There are tables in the Sanctuary to make this easier.
The prelude begins at 10:20am and worship begins at 10:30am. Worship is always over by 11:45am, though it ends earlier most weeks.
-
A. We are very relaxed and casual, everyone wearing what they find comfortable. You will see people in blue jeans and shorts and others in shirts and ties or dresses. We just ask that your dress is respectful of others.
-
A. You will find a blend of music; traditional hymns to contemporary worship music and even some bluegrass thrown in for fun. Our music is led by our praise band, which includes vocals, piano, guitar, violin and sometimes percussion. We also enjoy a prelude and postlude, plus some hymns on the organ. The words are always on the screens and, if you prefer, there are hymnals under the chairs you can use for some of the songs.

A. Kids are always welcome at PCC, and are welcome at all activities their parents think they would enjoy. During the second half of worship the kids are invited to go to our Kids Time, in a room adjacent to the sanctuary. This is a small group experience for kids, no overwhelming crowds, and siblings remain together. Parents can see their kids through a big window at the back of the sanctuary (no worries though, the room is soundproof so the kids don't have to whisper!). At Kids Time they will have a lesson based on the Bible and enjoy a special project – arts and crafts are the kids’ favorites! Kids are also welcome to stay in worship if they prefer.

A. We share Communion / the Lord's Supper on the first Sunday of each month. Everyone who accepts Jesus as their Lord and Savior is welcome to take part. You do not have to be a member of our congregation to take communion. We take communion by intinction (come forward and take a piece of bread and dip it in the common cup) or we have individual communion cups for those who prefer to take it in their seats. Gluten free bread is available for those who come forward for communion and those who take in in individual cups.

A. Absolutely! Everyone is welcome. Our facilities are fully accessible and our services are sensory friendly. We avoid bright or changing lights, loud music and startling sounds. Our service is relaxed and our people are accepting. We have hearing assistance devices available if needed, speak to an usher to get one. If you have any other needs, please let us know. It is our goal to make worship and events meaningful and enjoyable for everyone.
